Canada Africa 4R Solution and Precision Nutrient Management Online series- First Webinar hosted

4R Solution, University of Manitoba, OCP N. A and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University hosted the first webinar of the Canada – Africa 4R Solution and Precision Nutrient Management Online Series last week.

The webinar was attended by over 100 participants spanning 5 continents. (North America, Africa, Asia, South America, and Europe). Ed Rege, Founder and President of ECI-Africa facilitated the webinar.

The webinar included discussions around how Canada and Africa are working towards the adoption of 4R practices, the scientific foundation of relating 4R practices to outcomes, and the progress of the 4R Solution project to date and next steps. 

This online series is part of the 4R Solution project undertaken with the financial support of the Government of Canada provided through Global Affairs Canada. The program is also funded by private sector funders namely Sollio Agriculture, Nutrien, J.R Simplot, AGI, OCP and Shell.

The second webinar of the series will be on Monday, July 13 from 8 am – 10 am (EST). The theme of this session will be “Tools and Strategies for Boosting 4R Practice Adoption.” To register for this webinar, click here.
